WHY DO A TEACHER TRAINING?

When a person decides they want to try yoga, they usually randomly pick a class and go have an experience. If they like it, they start asking around to see who the good teachers are, or which are the fun classes, or the hard classes, etc. As the student becomes more interested they hopefully start to become more selective with whom they take classes; they start studying, maybe taking workshops, etc. By the time a student arrives at the decision to do a teacher training they have crossed over into making a rather serious commitment and memorable moments with like minded people... a family! So, when one is ready for a TT they are hopefully ready for a journey, a challenge, a commitment that lasts far beyond the TT itself. When that happens you have to consider not just the TT itself, but also who the teacher is who is going to guide you.

WHO IS A TRAINING FOR?

The training is for serious students and teachers. That doesn't say advanced students, just serious minded students who wish to learn and grow.

I have evolved my own way of seeing the asana practice as an opportunity to evolve/involve the eight limbs (ashtanga) and to see it as a path to enrich your life's journey.

This is when the magic happens, where you open yourself to yourself.

HOW IS IT ORGANIZED?

The teacher training is offered on a rolling admission in 100 hour modules spanning across 4 spread out weekends. Homework and books will be assigned based on where you are in the program. When you sucessfully complete 2 modules you will be awarded a 200 hour certificate with which you will be able to register with Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level.
